Curiosity got the best of me

After a bit of web searching, I have discovered who created the paintings that I posted on here yesterday. The artist's name is Kurt Wenner and you can see more of his works here. According to Wenner's resume highlights, Wenner is featured in a National Geographic documentary called Masterpieces in Chalk. The artist has lectured at The National Gallery of Art, The Smithsonian Institution, and Disney Studios. Oddly enough, he has also been to Guanajuato (those who read my blog regularly might remember that I lived in Guanajuato for a large part of last year) where he participated in The 21st International Cervantino Festival in 1993.
