Two things I learned at the ripe old age of 24

1) It's okay if I don't eat turkey on Thanksgiving. Even though Thanksgiving is turkey day, I am not hurting anybody's feelings if I don't eat something I don't like.

2) Escalators are not my friend. Walking down escalators, particularly long Metro escalators, scares me to death and I must learn to accept this.
