Is this for real?
For some silly reason, I just checked my work email on a Sunday (procrastination can cause crazy things to happen) and I received this rather bizarre message:
Hi there Elise,My initial thought was that the message was spam but then I realized that (1) Abbie was writing me from a gmail address and (2) she had followed up with another email:
I am currently building a birthday website for one of my best friends, also called Elise [Same last name as me], for her 30th birthday.
We both used to live in London,UK however she has now moved to Barcelona.
I wonder if you'd be prepared to send her an email message from wherever you are in the world as you both share such a great name?!
Just a little fun idea really I hope you agree,
Look forward to hearing from you,
Abbie
Elise, sorry I ought to have specified, the way I found your email address was by googling 'Elise [My last name here]'! I hope you have had a nice break. So, should I write the other Elise on her 30th birthday?
Abbie
