The Devil Wears Prada?

Well, it's not going to win any awards, but The Devil Wears Prada is definitely entertaining. The novel is reminiscent of The Nanny Diaries in both its style and subject matter. Both books are about intelligent, just-out-of-college, young women who find themselves working for wealthy, unbelievably domineering female bosses in Manhattan. If mediocre writing doesn't totally turn you off, give both of these books a try. They are particularly amusing if you're familiar with New York City's people, nightlife, restaurants, and neighborhoods.
