Invent it, already

I'm far from a Trekkie but I could really go for a teleporter right about now.  Here's why:

1) I love being near my family in DC but I'd rather live somewhere else.

2) New York City is the best place ever but living there is expensive.

3) I have fallen for the Mexican culture, language, and men, but the country could use a bit of variety when it comes to food.

4) My friends live all over the world and it's impossible to visit them all.

5) There are so many places I haven't been to yet, but now I have a job.  Good for money, but limits travel time.

Come on all you science geeks.  You can do it!  Invent a teleporter NOW.  Please?  Pretty please?
