Preconceptions/ misconceptions

Here is a lesson for all you Internet daters out there. Heed my warning: do not chat/ write to people online more than a few times before meeting. There is so much that cannot be transmitted through the computer. Face to face contact is almost always necessary to know whether or not you actually like someone. If you do choose to "talk" with a person a lot before meeting in person, he/she will most likely not fit the picture of him/her that you have created in your mind (think: reading a book and then seeing the movie version). Trust me, don't do it.
