Tasty!
This might not look appetizing,
but it tastes damn good!
Once upon a time, I was the strange little kid who didn't like kid food staples like pizza and ice cream. Over the years, I have grown fond of fancy pizzas and Amy's organic frozen pizzas, but I never got that into ice cream... until now. Last Thursday it was snowing, but my friends insisted on going to the Cold Stone Creamery in Silver Spring. My friend's boyfriend was talking about the ice cream like it was the greatest thing on Earth. Still, I was skeptical.
I like to live on the edge so I shelled out more than four bucks for a small cup of Germanchökolätekäke® and now I'm a believer. The ice cream was so good! Here's why Cold Stone Creamery is different. At Cold Stone, you start with a base ice cream and then the ice cream person smashes all types of tasty toppings into the base. My choice had chocolate ice cream mixed with pecans, brownies, coconut, and caramel. Though the combo sounded a bit too busy, my mouth was mighty happy with the selection. Maybe your mouth will be happy if you visit a Cold Stone Creamery near you!
