I'm oddly drawn to this

I'm not a religious person at all, but I find this NY Times article fascinating. The article, entitled The Punk-Christian Son of a Preacher Man, is all about Jim and Tammy Faye Bakker's son and his new ministry, Revolution Ministries. Revolution's members sit around in an Atlanta club called Masquerade on the "Purgatory" floor and talk about God and sell t-shirts that carry the slogan, "Religion Kills." Here's what founder Jay Bakker said to his ministry to explain what it is he's trying to do: "We're just trying to love people with no agenda. That's hard, to be a Christian and have no agenda, and it's hard for people to think of a Christian with no agenda."

If it weren't for all the God stuff, I could be totally into this.

Jay Bakker

Good night, she said.

I'm going to start a revolution....
