I can do anything if I put my mind to it
Last week I mentioned that I really wanted to do something bizarre. Well, I accomplished my goal this past weekend. Better still, I didn't even have to plan the craziness because the craziness came to me. I've said it before and I'll say it now: I've got me some good friends.
Friday night: Dancing in the VIP area at Agua Ardiente with a group of Austrians and ultra conservatives from the Heritage Foundation, a right-wing think tank. Better still, the group was living it up and splitting $200 bottles of vodka, but Scott and I had good excuses so we got to play and not pay (neither of us partook in the alcohol).
Saturday night: Heading out to a vegan, Mexican dinner party with a group of ultra liberals. I did cheat a little and brought along real cheese and sour cream. Despite the snow, the blender was churning out frozen margaritas and the guests (the female ones, anyway) were wearing summer dresses and strappy sandals.
