A quick note

Internet costs a lot in Cinque Terre (Italy!!!) so this is going to be brief. I still have plenty of stories about Switzerland but I will have to write about that later. I have been trying to get to Italy for nearly ten years. I was supposed to go with my best friend after high school but that never happened. Then she and I were supposed to go sometime in college. I waited and waited for nothing. Well, I am finally here and, with the exception of banging my head on a sharp open window in the hostel, all is great. Even better because I've got a bed to sleep in tonight.*

So, why did I have this great desire to visit Italy? I think it started with the movie Stealing Beauty and only increased when I took an architecture course in college. I'll let you all know more soon! Ciao.


*The last two nights we have slept in our rental car at camp sites. I'm looking forward to a good night's sleep!
