Still some of the most romantic lyrics ever

Back in high school, I loved Jeff Buckley and Pump Up the Volume. While Pump Up the Volume leads me to question my taste back then,* Jeff Buckley is redeeming the teenage me. I OD'ed on Buckley a while back, but I just put in his Live in Chicago DVD to show my roommate who he was.** As it turns out, this concert is awesome. Once upon a time, my favorite song was Lover, You Should've Come Over. I still think it contains some of the most romantic words ever, sung in one of the most romantic ways ever. If only someone would sing something like this about me:
It's never over,
My kingdom for a kiss upon her shoulder
It's never over,
All my riches for her smiles when I slept so soft against her...
It's never over,
All my blood for the sweetness of her laughter...
It's never over,
She's a tear that hangs inside my soul forever...
Oh wait. I forgot. I'm trying to meet men who make enough money to support themselves. Such a pity because starving artists can be so enticing.

*Man, was I an angsty teenager.
**I've hardly watched the DVD because I got it when I was already sick of Buckley.
