To engrave or not to engrave?

As of the end of today, I will have my summer internship settled. To reward myself for making it through the process, I am buying myself a new iPod. Plus, the old iPod mini is rapidly losing battery power and I can't help but wonder what it would be like to have a nano or a video. In addition to choosing between the two models, I'm also trying to decide if I should get the new iPod engraved. Here are some thoughts I've had:
