Wannabes

I know people want to make money and that they want to jump on the next big thing. I know that there are forerunners and copycats. Still I'm getting sick of all these social networking websites. Sure, I frequent Friendster and Myspace, but I'm constantly being asked to join new sites. There are so many that every once in a while I get an e-mail from one I belong to and I don't even know what it is. Once there was Ringo until it turned into (or was enveloped by) Tickle. Then there's Tribe and Bebo and Catch 27.

Who the hell has time for these things? I don't know what you do during the day, but I actually work at work!
