Did I miss something?

Yesterday when I was driving home from work, I saw a snazzy Volvo with this sticker on its bumper:


Then this morning on the way to work, I saw a car with a Virginia Pentagon license plate and a similar sticker on its bumper:

Did I miss something? Where did these stickers come from? It's a good thing I didn't see the sticker below or I might have crashed!
